ACCESSIBILITY FOR PEOPLE WITH RESTRICTED MOBILITY

At Ageas Cooljazz, Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We work to provide an inclusive, comfortable, and safe experience, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the festival on equal terms.

The festival offers:

- Exclusive access door to the venue;
- Reserved parking area (upon presentation of a valid permit);
- Accessibility Zone in the Grandstand, with privileged visibility of the stage;
- Assistance and support on-site, whenever needed.

Companion Ticket

Ageas Cooljazz offers a free companion ticket for people with a disability rating of 60% or higher, upon presentation of the Multi-Purpose Disability Medical Certificate (AMIM).

This initiative is supported by Grupo Ageas Portugal, through the Ageas Foundation.

How to Request
Access is subject to availability for each concert.
The request must be made in advance via email to ticketing@liveexperiences.pt, indicating:

- Desired concert;
- Need for a companion ticket (where applicable);
- Submission of the Multi-Purpose Disability Medical Certificate (AMIM).

Once the documentation has been validated and availability confirmed, the corresponding link for ticket purchase will be sent.

Sensory Vests and Portuguese Sign Language

The festival offers Portuguese Sign Language (LGP) interpretation and sensory vests at the following concerts:

July 8 – Gilberto Gil
July 14 – David Byrne
July 25 – Franz Ferdinand
July 29 – Scissor Sisters

The experience takes place in the Accessibility Zone, located in the stand.

Capacity is limited to 6 participants per concert, subject to availability.

- Desired concert;
- Need to use a sensory vest and/or Portuguese Sign Language interpretation;
- Need for a companion ticket (where applicable);
- Submission of the Multi-Purpose Disability Medical Certificate (AMIM), where applicable.

Once the documentation has been validated and availability confirmed, the corresponding link for ticket purchase will be sent.

AGEAS Cooljazz has been awarded the “Accessible Festival” 2026 distinction by the Portuguese Tourism Board (Turismo de Portugal) and the National Institute for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

This distinction recognises the festival’s commitment to accessibility, inclusion and participation for all audiences through the implementation of measures that promote a more comfortable, independent and accessible cultural experience.

Ageas Cooljazz considers accessibility a central pillar of its experience, promoting inclusive conditions for different audiences.
