Singer and songwriter, Luedji Luna was born at Salvador, and studied music at Escola Baiana de Canto Popular. At age of 34, she already collected two albums, various indications, and awards, becoming a reference to contemporary Brazilian popular music. Active voice in racial and feminist militancy, Luedji emerge into her ancestry and bringing strong messages of struggle, belief, depth, and love to his art.
In 2017 she released her first album “Um Corpo no Mundo”, which established her on the Brazilian national scene and earned her first highlights in awards, festivals, and media. In 2021, as well as being mother of her first child, she also gave birth to the disc “Bom Mesmo É Estar Debaixo D´agua”, which among so many nominations and tops of global lists, took her to the nomination of “The Best MPB Album”, from the Grammy Latino 2021. On November of 2022 she released the Deluxe version of “Bom Mesmo É Estar Debaixo D’água” – with a side B of the previous version, including 10 unreleased songs.
