Inês Marques Lucas started learning the piano at the age of 5, has been inseparable from the guitar since the age of 10 and along the way has explored the transverse flute, an instrument that is very present in her music. At the age of 15 she composed her first songs in English, but soon realized that it was the Portuguese language that best represented her in her compositions.
In September 2023 she released her first album “Horas Mortas”, which generated recognition right from the start. From this album came “Do Avesso” – the first single being recognized “Não Restou Nada” and “Sofá”, songs that got immediate airplay and top spots on several national radio stations.
