“This Dream Of You” is an album edited in 2020 from recordings made in 2016 and 2017. This new work has a quartet composed by John Clayton, Jeff Hamilton and Anthony Wilson in “Almost Like Being In Love” and in “That's All”, and a trio with Christian McBride and Russell Malone, who play on “Autumn In New York” and “There Is No You” and “Don't Smoke In Bed”. The last session at Capitol Studios featured an ensemble that includes Stuart Duncan's violin, which is heard in "Just You, Just Me", guitarist Marc Ribot, and a rhythm section formed by Tony Garnier and Karriem Riggins. This line-up plays in the recreation of Irving Berlin's "How Deep Is The Ocean" and Bob Dylan's "This Dream Of You," which includes the accordion played by Diana's uncle Randall Krall.
